How to Get Started
Set up access
- Ensure you have Slack workspace admin privileges to install the Active Budgets Slack app.
- Have a Google Workspace account available for authentication.
Install the Slack app
- Add the Active Budgets Slack app to your workspace.
- This integration allows Active Budgets to send periodic check-in messages to designated Slack channels.
Sign in and connect
- Log in to Active Budgets using your Google Workspace credentials.
- Provide the URL of the Slack workspace where the app was installed.
Configure tracked applications
- Add the applications you want to monitor within Active Budgets.
- For each app, specify:
- The application name
- The Slack channel of the team responsible for using it
Enable usage monitoring
- Active Budgets will automatically conduct periodic check-ins with teams to confirm whether the designated applications are actively being used.
View insights on the dashboard
- The Active Budgets dashboard provides a consolidated view of all tracked applications and their usage status across your organization.
